The Beach

Yesterday we went to the beach called Pacific City. Here is the giant sand dune that we climbed all day.
It was very windy at the beach, perfect for flying kites. At the afternoon the wind was very strong and the sand was flying all over.
At the tide pools there were lots of little creatures. There were star fish, hermit crabs, fish, anemones, barnacles, and lots of different shellfish.
As you can tell, we made a sand castle. Before the trip, we got a book from the library about sand castles. That's how we made this awesome sand castle and many more.

Broken Chicken Coop

The boys were playing outside and I guess one of them bumped into the door of the chicken coop. As you can see, it broke.
The screws got ripped out so we couldn't put new screws in. We decided to put a piece of wood on the back so we could put longer screws in.
Right here the coop door is almost fixed. I hope the kids won't break it again.

spring is coming

The weather is getting nicer so we will be planting stuff soon.

We have started lettuce, baby choi spinach and green onion.
