Rockets
We spent the day today making water bottle rockets. It was way more fun than watching TV. We found directions for making the launcher at the following website:

The Beach
Yesterday we went to the beach called Pacific City. Here is the giant sand dune that we climbed all day.
It was very windy at the beach, perfect for flying kites. At the afternoon the wind was very strong and the sand was flying all over.
At the tide pools there were lots of little creatures. There were star fish, hermit crabs, fish, anemones, barnacles, and lots of different shellfish.
As you can tell, we made a sand castle. Before the trip, we got a book from the library about sand castles. That's how we made this awesome sand castle and many more.
