Haloween

We had a great time trick-or-treating with some friends in the area. The weather was perfect, high 50's, no rain, no wind. The kids had a lot of fun. We had Juliet, a dinosaur, a ninja, and a negative political campaign add. You can't see it that clearly but the political campaign add accuses our two governor candidates of being a vampire and a zombie and concludes with ...and I approve this message.

Easter Eggs

Its Easter! Here we are blowing the yolk out of the eggs. It is gross but fun too. we used the egg yolk to make scrambled eggs, it was good.
After blowing the eggs we put glue on the eggs then put some tissue paper on them.
Here are the finished products.

Chinese New Year - Year of the Tiger

We are welcoming the year of the tiger today. We had a feast with friends last night and are celebrating with our school today. Two of our boys are part of a Chinese yo-yo team. They performed at an Asian Supermarket yesterday and will perform at school today.

We have enjoyed, as somewhat of a tradition, making paper snowflakes.

Also, this year, buying presents for each other was fun and a bit tough but still enjoyable.

This is a mini picture exhibit of our Christmas lights. We are highly excited for Christmas to arrive...As well, thankfully, no one got hurt while putting up our lights.
